Scope and Contents
The collection contains 184 digital photograph images that were captured by the Office of Campus Advancement during 2000-2002. Photographs feature the construction of the Firstenburg Family Fountain, the Multimedia Classroom Building, the State of Education event, President Sam Smith's farewell visit to vancouver, 2002 commencement and a special event with Nikki Giovanni.

Biographical / Historical
The Office of Campus Advancement was a precursor to WSU Vancouver's Office of Marketing and Communications and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. Campus Advancement originally oversaw campus fundraising, event planning, internal and external communications and a host of other activities conducted by Marketing and Communications and Development and Alumni Relations. The office split into two separate departments at the beginning of the 2006-2007 school year.

Abstract
The collection contains digital photographs that originated through the Office of Campus Advancement, which later became the Office of Communications and Marketing and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. The photgraphs document campus events and campus scenes between 2000-2001. Some of the digital photographs are capture at low resolution (72 or 96 ppi) and were likely used representationally for web site postings. The collection was originally accesioned as UA-WSUV-2020-006. This collection is a part of the Digital Records (DR).

Immediate Source of Acquisition
The digital files were transfered to the Archives from the Office of Communications and Marketing. They were originally part of Campus Advancement. The collection was accessioned as UA-WSUV-2020-006 and is located as a part of the Digital Records (DR).
