VanCougar (student newspaper), 2001-2006; February 5, 2007; 2008-2010; December 3, 2012; 2013-2016. The VanCougar began as a newsletter published by the Associated Students of Washington State University Vancouver (ASWSUV) in 1990 before evolving into a full-fledged campus newspaper. In the early 2000s, the VanCougar began publishing copies of the student newspaper on its website. Files accumulated by the Archives and from the VanCougar are incomplete. Dates of the digital publication are from 2001-2007 and from 2012-2016. A special edition entitled “Remember the Times” is included in the 2001-2002 volume.
Scope and Contents
Washington State University Vancouver Digital.Pubs include campus publications that have been identified as born digital or once published on WSU Vancouver’s website or distributed through email. These digital files have been acquired from a variety of sources through the years. Some of the publications have been transferred from CDs and floppy discs as transfers from university departments or donated by individuals. Others have been accumulated by the archives. In 2018 the Archives and Special Collections began arranging and describing these digital files as archival items and created this finding aid. The date range for the collection is from 1999 to 2018 with dates varying from publication to publication. Additional titles, dates and volumes of publication may be added in the future.
