Biographical / Historical
The Housing committee was formed to investigate viable options for student housing on the WSU Vancouver campus. The committee began its work in 2017 following a May 2016 Facility Siting Study. In the Spring of 2018, the committee made its final recommendation for a 300-bed residential hall. This was to first committee assembled specifically for campus housing. Previous efforts and proposals addressing student housing in 2013 were concentrated on off-campus options.

The collection contains digital files produced by the Housing Committee. Included are minutes and other files used by the committee to determine options for student housing on the WSU Vancouver campus.

The records were transferred to the Archives by Lynn Valenter, Vice Chancellor for Finance and Operations, in 2018 (UA-WSUV-2018-013).
