Biographical / Historical

WSU Vancouver Cougar Pride Club was established in 2007 to provide a safe forum for LGBTQ+ and ally individuals to exchange information and resource materials concerning culture, sexual-orientation and gender-identity. Part of the club’s mission is to build a sense of community for LGBTQ+ and ally individuals; to raise awareness; and to promote organization citizenship in order to serve the interests of the student body and the surrounding community. The students and alumni who make up the Cougar Pride Club host regular meetings; LGBTQ+ and Allies Socials on campus; and sponsor programs.
