Abstract The collection includes 15 VHS tapes containing videos of public programs contributed by the Center for Columbia River History (CCRH) from 1996 to 2001. The presentations focus on the history of communities and life along the Columbia River. More broadly the content features Pacific Northwest history and includes topics on the demographic shifts and changes in relationship to the river over time. Abstract

This collection contains a number of newspapers as well as magazines ranging in date from 1929 - 2004. The newspapers document a number of historical events including World War II, the John F. Kennedy Assasination, the eruption of Mt. St. Helens, the Chicago Worlds fair, as well as a number of local and regional events. The condition of the newspapers vary and they are meant for research purposes only. Consult with archivist if needed for display.

Abstract

The collection consists of papers, communications, course notes, ephemera, administrative records and other items compiled under the tenure of Jacqueline Peterson, PhD as faculty and department head of WSU Vancouver's History Department from 1994-2010. The papers were donated to WSU Libraries by Peterson in 2016.

Abstract The collection consists of CDs and DVDs of presentations sponsored by the WSU Vancouver Library during the 2000s. The presentations include talks from former Washington State Representative Val Ogden and her husband Dr. Dan Ogden. Other presentations include audio from a poetry reading by former WSU Vancouver professor Tim Hunt and a feature video produced by Dr. Jacqueline Peterson titled Sovereign to Sovereign: Northwest Indian Nations and Lewis and Clark.
