The donation was received as part of a Diversity Council grant project conducted by the WSU Vancouver Library to encourage representation of diversity from student organizations and to document diverse groups as part of campus culture and history. Documents, letters, and correspondence created and compiled by George A. Condon during his career as the director for the Southwest Washington Joint Center for Education from 1985 to 1989 and some materials such as emails, an oral history interview, and other items compiled at later dates. Collection is accessioned under WSUV.2013.007.

Abstract The collection includes agendas and minutes from WSU Vancouver's Graduation Committee, which was assembled annually to help plan for commencement ceremonies. Other items in the collection include planning documents, evaluations, commencement scripts, campus reunuon and anniversary planning documents and thank you letters to commencement speakers. Student research papers from the 2017 History 469: Seminar in History course held on Washington State University-Vancouver campus. The course was taught by Dr. Laurie Mercier during the Spring semester in 2017 and was part of a capstone for students. The class focused on public history themes and student research mostly features history in Clark County and more broadly the Northwest.

The collection consists of papers, communications, course notes, ephemera, administrative records and other items compiled under the tenure of Jacqueline Peterson, PhD as faculty and department head of WSU Vancouver's History Department from 1994-2010. The papers were donated to WSU Libraries by Peterson in 2017.

Abstract

The collection includes photographs from a 2010 T-shirt printing party hosted by KOUG Radio. The photographs depict students silk screening the KOUG logo onto shirts. The event was part of an inagural celebration for a new logo, which was selected as part of a contest the KOUG Radio conducted. Details of the event are included on an event flyer contained in the collection. The images were originally saved in a low resolution quality (72 ppi).
