Lynn Degerstedt Collection: Records documenting the Southwest Washington Joint Center for Education.
The materials in this collection consist of surrogates of records compiled and produced by Lynn Degerstedt, first director of the Southwest Washington Joint Center for Education, serving from ca. 1983 until his departure in 1987. The materials in this collection document the assessment of needs for higher education in Southwest Washington, the formation of the Southwest Washington Joint Center for Education and the early history of the Washington State University Vancouver branch campus.

The collection includes architectural drawings, plans, specifications and an index of Day Walter Hilborn's designs. Many of the drawings were created for buildings and houses in the Vancouver, Washington area. Approximately 5,000 plans (items) exist in this collection with hundreds of projects. The date range for the contents is between the 1920s and 1960s.

This collection of Washington State University Vancouver realia and ephemera includes materials ranging from the opening of the Washington State Univesity Vancouver campus in 1989 to present. Items in the collection include shirts, ribbons, pennants, stickers and plauques. These materials were collected overtime by the Library, Archives and Special Collections and aquired from numerous departments and student organizations on campus.
